CINI Women Health Division is primarily involved in planning and subsequent implementation of women's health specific programmes. The division undertakes community based intervention programmes through micro-level approach which encompasses a gamut of components ranging from ensuring safe motherhood, child survival and growth to increasing male participation in women's reproductive health, and adolescent health issues. It also engages in advocacy at various levels of policy making.

Following are the core programme activities as part of the holistic approach of life cycle based micro-level intervention.

Increasing gender sensitization of men through the component of peer educator based male involvement strategy
Reproductive Health Clinic activities, which caters to women of the project areas with complaints of gynecological morbidities and also has provision for early detection of cancer and subsequent follow-ups of all cases. This is being done in collaboration with the Department of Biochemistry, Indian Statistical Institute. 
Coordinates skill building training programme for the Traditional Birth Attendants and Training of Trainers (TOT) of other non-governmental organizations.
Implements projects on HIV/AIDS for commercial sex workers.
