This unit with 10 beds provides curative treatment for patients requiring immediate attention for illness associated with malnutrition. Most children are admitted here with acute respiratory tract infections, diarrhoea with dehydration and moderate to severe under nutrition.

This unit with 12 beds is used for rehabilitation of undernourished children through supportive care and capacity building of the caregivers especially mothers. Children along with their mothers or caregivers are admitted here for capacity building through awareness and skill development on child feeding, early childhood stimulation, growth monitoring, immunization etc.

This unit admits mothers reporting with lactation failure. Mothers are counseled and supported during their stay here. The husband and other members in the family are also counseled on the importance of providing nutrition and emotional support for both the mother and child to ensure successful lactation.
