Objectives

  1. To Improve knowledge and awareness of KMC and Siliguri Health workers, CBOs, ULBs and Community Representatives for sensitizing communities across the project areas about their rights & entitlement of government services (NUHM, ICDS, JSY, Institutional Based Health, and Sanitation Service) and improving up-take of services.
  2. To Mobilize the community by holding structured participatory learning and action (PLA) meetings to demand for and access to  NUHM, ICDS, and WASH services
  3. To Develop micro plans for first 1,000 days program of each underserved and un-served areas of proposed ward in two cities mentioned above with active participation of CBO, ULB, and Community Representatives through facilitation.
  4. To Run special nutrition counselling and care session for the moderate and severe acute malnourished children below 5 years
  1. To Ensure strengthening maternal and child health and nutrition interventions through institutional and programmatic convergence leading to harmonized convergent actions at the borough and ward level.
