A number of independent fundraising groups registered as charities, promote and support
"Adopt A Mother, Save her Child"
- a programme developed by CINI to address health and nutrition
problems at the critical time of pregnancy, childbirth and

CINI International - a
globally focused NGO, was set up on 1
February 2000, as the northern arm of the Child In Need
Institute (CINI), Kolkata. The right of every child and woman to
achieve a good quality of life through sustainable development
and health interventions is central to the vision and mission of
both CINI and CINI International. CINI with its direct field
programmes and CINI International through networking and
advocacy are dedicated towards improving the well-being and
health status of current and future generations.
