CCRC has disseminated training to over 18,000 field level functionaries from both Government and Non-Government Organisations
Personnel trained by CCRC are presently at every level of ICDS (Integrated Child Development Services) from District to Block in West Bengal)
CCRC acts as a mediator between the Central and State Governments of India in developing new training strategies
CCRC facilitated the implementation of new policies in ICDS, including the micronutrient initiative and "Meena" - a communication tool relating to the girl child issue.
As a member of the Technical Resource Group (counselling training on HIV/AIDS) under NACO (National AIDS Control Organisation), CCRC has been able to contribute to developing a training module for best practice in HIV/AIDS
CCRC is the only NACO sanctioned training centre in the Eastern Region of India offering counselling training for HIV/AIDS
CCRC is a member of Sishu Vikash Prachesta (SVP) - a platform for Government and Non-Government Organisations to share experiences and develop strategies for ICDS training
CCRC has long standing relationships with networking/funding organisations achieved through capacity building of partner organisations.

The ninth five-year plan made provisions for the Central Government to acknowledge NGO contributions in social welfare activities. This has been done by the Department of Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) conferring MNGO status on selected eligible NGOs. These MNGOs in turn maintain a network of Field NGOs (FNGO) in the districts, along with the Advocacy and IEC activities, for awareness generation on RCH issues (like safe motherhood, quality care for infants, immunization, counseling on STI/HIV etc.).

The basic objective of this MNGO-FNGO network was institutional capacity building to promote the Reproductive and Child Health programme of the Government of India. For the effective implementation of the RCH programme in the 10th five-year plan the concept of Regional Resource Center came up.  More
